HAMLET ACT 2 SCENE 2 SCRIPT

ACT 2 SCENE 2

KING: So nice to see you two Rose and Guil. You guys must have heard that there is something going wrong with Hamlet. I don't know what is causing him to act like this other then his father's step. You two are his best friends since his childhood so please help us to find out what caused him to act like this.

QUEEN: Good gentlemen, you two are the best friends of Hamlet, there are no other people in this world that could figure out why he went crazy. So please,help us. If you find out why he acts like that, you will be rewarded.

ROSE: It is my honor to serve to you majesties than requesting us.

GUIL : We are both ready to find out. We will do the best we can.

KING: Thanks guys.

QUEEN: Thank you gentlemen, please go see Hamlet right now.

GUIL : Hope whatever we do help him.

QUEEN : We all hope so too.

POLONIUS : My good lord, the ambassadors from Norway are back.

KING : You always bring the good news, Polonius.

POLONIUS: Oh really, my job and my heart is to bring all the good news to you ,and luckily I found out. By the way, what is going on with Hamlet ?

KING: I definitely want to hear that more, Polonius.

POLONIUS: But first, lets meet with the ambassadors. My news will be the dessert to follow their great feast.

KING: Oh sure, bring them in , Polonius. (Turning to the queen)
Polonius will find out what is wrong with our son.

QUEEN: I have no doubt for anything else than his fathers death or over our marriage !

KING: Well, lets ask him then.
POLONIUS ENTERS

Welcome Voltemand, What message did you bring from the king of Norway.




VOLTEMAND : A most favorable response to your greetings and requests. As soon as we got there, he showed us the army that he is going to use to invade Poland. Also he told his uncle Fortinbras to not say bad things about your majesty and to not threat our country. Also here are some information about their plan to invade Poland (he passes the documents.)

KING : I am very pleased to hear these news Voltemand, we will have a party tonight and worry about the business tomorrow.
