Anniversary of Her Death

      It was early in the morning. I could not have fallen asleep. I felt shocked and old about how fast it has been ten years since the only woman I loved the most in this world, my mom,passed away. It was the night when we got back from visiting her at her grave and I could not feel anything in my body. I just sand on my bed, and thought about things until 6 in the morning. Then I realized, I had only one hour to go to the practice. I got up. As I was walking to the bathroom, I felt so cold for some reason because the house was around almost 80 degrees. I went into the bathroom, I even felt colder. As I put my hands on to the sink, I felt like I was touching to some sticky ice. I looked in  to the mirror , and I said "Is this me ? How quickly that 10 year just passed like a blink in your eye. I bend down to wash my face,and I saw something colorful out of all that darkness. As I put my head up again to look in the mirror, I saw my mother's face. I was so shocked that I could not even tear up. I turned around and I was totally sure that it was my mom, and I said "Mom, is that you ?" She replied :
-Yes honey, it's me. I just saw you so sad and not sleeping at all. You need to know that everything happens for a reason. If my body is not with you, that does not mean that my spirit is not. So believe me, I am watching you and the reason I cam here is to talk to you about your future.

I was so shocked, all I could say was "Yes,mom, g-g-go ahead." She continued :
-My dear only child, you have been educated and trained by us so good. You are such a nice kid, could not even hurt and ant. But you have been slacking off lately. You need to know that your family hopes good things from you , and gave their everything they had to send you to a school in the United States of America.So , you must learn your responsibilities and take care of them. I shall go now, but believe me, I am always with you.

As she was leaving, I jumped into her and yelled "Don't leave mom, I missed you so much ! " But It was too late. As I was on the floor trying to get up, I started hearing my grandma's voice. "Wake up Atakan, you are late to the practice! " Suddenly, I woke up , and realized that all of these things was just a dream, but I knew that my mom will always be with me. If her body is not with me, it does not mean her spirit is not.
