In Act IV, two opposite people, Laertes and Hamlet basically looks like they are in the same situation. But there is only one little thing that differs each other which is "the speed of action."
What I mean by speed of action is that , we have read over 200 pages and almost every single page, Hamlet talks about his sweet revenge, how he is going to kill Cladius ,etc. But he has done so much other things that has nothing to do with taking revenge from Cladius. He started to mess with Ophelia, after, he drove her crazy by killing his dad for no reason. He took so much time. Instead of just going ahead and killing Cladius, for some reason he just waited for the right time which have never came. After causing so much trouble, he had to go back to England. But unluckily, he ended up in Fortinbras ship and got back to Denmark.
Unlike what Hamlet is doing, Laertes is competely different. Right after he heard that Hamlet killed his father, he was so angry that he went in the palace , and put his sword on King's throat. He was going to kill him just because he didn't take care of Hamlet. If Hamlet was as brave as Laertes, Cladius would have been dead. Because basically Cladius killed King Hamlet, and send Hamlet to England to get him killed. But he wasn't as brave as Laertes. Laertes negotiated with Cladius and from what we understood in Act IV, he is going to poison him.
Basically, only thing that differs Hamlet and Laertes is the speed of action.

This line is said by Polonius to Laertes when Laertes was about to leave to France. This line is one of the advices that Polonius gives to Laertes before he leaves. He says that he should never borrow money from someone , neither get money from someone because that is what causes troubles.

Anniversary of Her Death
It was early in the morning. I could not have fallen asleep. I felt shocked and old about how fast it has been ten years since the only woman I loved the most in this world, my mom,passed away. It was the night when we got back from visiting her at her grave and I could not feel anything in my body. I just sand on my bed, and thought about things until 6 in the morning. Then I realized, I had only one hour to go to the practice. I got up. As I was walking to the bathroom, I felt so cold for some reason because the house was around almost 80 degrees. I went into the bathroom, I even felt colder. As I put my hands on to the sink, I felt like I was touching to some sticky ice. I looked in to the mirror , and I said "Is this me ? How quickly that 10 year just passed like a blink in your eye. I bend down to wash my face,and I saw something colorful out of all that darkness. As I put my head up again to look in the mirror, I saw my mother's face. I was so shocked that I could not even tear up. I turned around and I was totally sure that it was my mom, and I said "Mom, is that you ?" She replied :
-Yes honey, it's me. I just saw you so sad and not sleeping at all. You need to know that everything happens for a reason. If my body is not with you, that does not mean that my spirit is not. So believe me, I am watching you and the reason I cam here is to talk to you about your future.
I was so shocked, all I could say was "Yes,mom, g-g-go ahead." She continued :
-My dear only child, you have been educated and trained by us so good. You are such a nice kid, could not even hurt and ant. But you have been slacking off lately. You need to know that your family hopes good things from you , and gave their everything they had to send you to a school in the United States of America.So , you must learn your responsibilities and take care of them. I shall go now, but believe me, I am always with you.
As she was leaving, I jumped into her and yelled "Don't leave mom, I missed you so much ! " But It was too late. As I was on the floor trying to get up, I started hearing my grandma's voice. "Wake up Atakan, you are late to the practice! " Suddenly, I woke up , and realized that all of these things was just a dream, but I knew that my mom will always be with me. If her body is not with me, it does not mean her spirit is not.

Party Time at Savannah
It was probably the worse week I had in my life.
When you think about these old creepy cities, you think it is only in the movies.Well I guess my weekend was shot by some good director.
So this is how it all begun...
My parents were out of town, and they told me to stay either in grandma's house , or one of my cool friends West Michael's house. Not knowing him living in this creepy city, I accepted my dad's offer and packed some clothes to stay over weekend. After school on Friday, I went to Football training as usual, got out, took a shower, and was ready to go.
But I have never known that West Michael just moved into the town and only place his family found a house to live was a house Savannah.
"Thanks for letting me know that you live in this beautiful neighborhood , West Michael ! " I said as I was getting out of the car. He said "I am sorry, but your dad wanted me to not tell you about here , I don't know why. "
It was getting worse and worse in each minute.
We sat down, hung out for a while , played X-BOX . It was getting darker and darker which was making me scared so much. When I look outside of the window, I feel like some vampire is going to show up and will scare me. After dinner , I felt really tired and wanted to go to bed, he shook his head as he meant to say yes.
I took a shower, went to bed. It took me quite while to sleep, because house itself was so scary that I wouldn't walk anywhere by myself.
Finally fall asleep.
After couple of hours of sleeping, I woke up around 5 A.M . As I woke up, I tried to go back to sleep but I was hearing this creepy song. As I moved closer to the living room, I was pretty sure that somebody was playing "Party Rock" by LMFAO. I felt better because I thought it was West Michael blasting the music 3 in the morning , but I was shocked as I saw 3 people dancing around. I asked them :
-Who are you all ? One of them replied.
-We are the first owners of this house , we died in 1935.Who ever comes to this house to spend the night, we turn them into a vampire like we did to your friend and to his family.So we are partying because you are our guest who is going to be in our family.
I was shocked. One of my best friends, West Michael, was a vampire ! I ran back to the room to grab my phone but one of the vampires appeared in front of m and pushed me. I got angry and try to punch the man, but my hand went through his head. He started to laugh "I am a spirit , you cannot hurt me ! " I got rid of him and tried to run away from the house but West Micheal appeared and he pushed me. He had red eyes and looked really mad. I backed up couple steps and he tried to jump on me. I took a step to my right so he just fell on the ground. I started to run away from the house and they tried to chase me down , but it was too late because sun was going up so they had to run back to the house.
As I was running away , I heard someone telling me to wake up. I was like what is going on then I started to hear Coach Morrell's voice. "Wake up AK !" I woke up and I was in the classroom. I realized that it was all dream. West Michael was sitting right next to me. He said " So AK, you are spending the night at my house , right ? " I answered back "By the way West Michael, Where do you live ? " He replied "Oh , It is at Savannah but nothing happens, it is just a rumor , you know" And I said "No West Michael, I am going to spend the night at my grandma's house , but thanks"

ACT 2 SCENE 2
KING: So nice to see you two Rose and Guil. You guys must have heard that there is something going wrong with Hamlet. I don't know what is causing him to act like this other then his father's step. You two are his best friends since his childhood so please help us to find out what caused him to act like this.
QUEEN: Good gentlemen, you two are the best friends of Hamlet, there are no other people in this world that could figure out why he went crazy. So please,help us. If you find out why he acts like that, you will be rewarded.
ROSE: It is my honor to serve to you majesties than requesting us.
GUIL : We are both ready to find out. We will do the best we can.
KING: Thanks guys.
QUEEN: Thank you gentlemen, please go see Hamlet right now.
GUIL : Hope whatever we do help him.

POLONIUS : My good lord, the ambassadors from Norway are back.

UTILIZATION OF ANIMAL USAGE IN INFERNO
Through out the whole thirty-four cantos, we have seen a good amount of animal usages utilizing for the sinners in the book of inferno. Before starting off to explain why he did that, we need to know the biggest difference between a human and an animal. Humans are also known as “intelligent animals”, and some of their biggest difference from animals is developing an argument, following the line of logic, drawing important conclusions that will lead them to an answer of a question and last but not least framing hypotheses. Besides these skills, we have some similarities with animals but these are the main skills that differentiates human from animal.
If you are a human that did not use the skills that was given to you from god which differed you from animal , you go to hell. What I mean by that is, when you commit a sin , you do not really think about doing the right thing and just follow the things that will satisfy you, and that's why Dante uses these similarities because the people in hell are no different than animals which is a really smart way to have a controversy in a book. He claims that these people have nothing different than animals. They didn't use the skills that differs them from animals and now they are punished because of that. I also think that the usage of animal similarities is a really good way to describe the sinners in hell because it shows the readers the difference between a sinner and a good person.
Also the personifications bring more professionalism and knowledge to the book . It sounds more interesting to the reader when the authors talks about the people in the second circle who did not work for “ Ben Comune” and just cared about their selves , and says “ They ate too much food, they just used their richness to their selves” instead of saying something like“They were eating like pigs and not sharing a piece” . Obviously the second one sounds more interesting and makes the reader think that the book is flowing. He even compares his three sins that he fears to be punished for the most. He compares being lustful to a she-wolf, being violent to lion and being fraud to leopard. In the beginning of the book these three creatures are in his path and they do not let him go to heaven so he needs to go through hell.
I think Dante uses the animal references to differ the sinners from good people and since they did not think about what they were doing when they committed a sin, they basically have no different skills than animals and that is why they are in hell. I really think it is a great idea to personify the sinners.

THE INFERNO -CANTO XXXII
About the Ninth Circle
- Dante and Virgil are in the ninth circle and walking on Cocytus which is the fourth and the last biggest lake in the circle.
- The people are getting punished in this Canto is the ones who were traitors and betrayed the people who trusted in them.
Summary of the Canto
- In the beginning of this canto , Dante and his master Virgil are in the ninth circle which is a place for the people who were traitors and betrayed people. Their punishment is to be in this frozen and the one of the greatest lake called Cocytus. The reason that Dante has these people punished in a frozen lake is because he thinks they used people's warm feelings, their love and gods love for their benefit so Dante thinks that now they should feel how is it to be like without his warmth from sun.
- The ice is divided by 4 different rings. First ring is called “Caina” which is named from Cain. These people are punished because they denied the love of the people who they were related. This is also a reference from a bible because Cain betrayed and killed his brother Abel and he was punished rest of his life in an island(Genesis). These people's punishment is to be in the frozen lake. They are allowed to move their heads and helps them to have some protection from freezing dales and lets their tears drop without freezing them. In this ring , Dante sees some famous people such as Alessandro and Napoleone Degli Alberti. He also talks to Camicion and he identifies some of the sinners around.
- The second ring is called Antenora, coming from Antenor. He was a Trojan and most of the people thought that he betrayed his city over Greek people. This ring contains people who were traitors against their own country. They are in the frozen lake as well but their neck is covered with ice so they cannot move their heads at all. As Dante and Virgil are walking , Dante accidentally kicks one of the sinners cheek. As he bends down for and apology , he realizes that it is Bocca Degli Abbati who betrayed Italy and its people. He gets mad like he has never felt to any other souls in the hell and threatens him. Bocca names some of the traitors in this ring. As they move on Dante sees one soul gnawing behind another souls head , and asks him why is he doing that so he can give explanation to the world for his cruelty.
The Punishments
- The name of Caina is coming from Cain who killed his brother Abel and the name of Antenora is coming from Antenor who was thought to betray his city.
- The traitors are to stay in a frozen lake and face against the freezing dales. They are punished in a frozen lake because they used people's and God's warm feelings for their own benefit so now they are far away from God's warm sun.

THE INFERNO-CANTO XVI
About the Seventh Circle
- This circle is divided by 3 parts and contains people who were violent against god(blashphemers),nature(sodomites) and art(usurers).
- In Canto XVI, Dante and Virgil are in the second zone of the 3rd ring (also known as inner ring) where the Sodomites are punished.
- Blashphemers are in the first zone of the seventh circle,and they have to lie on their back on the flaming sand ,sodomites are in the second zone of the circle ,and they have to run in endless circles.
Summary of the Canto
- Dante and Virgil are still in the seventh circle. They are in the second ring of the circle which contains the sinners who were violent against the nature and punished to run in endless circles. Dante also mentions that he can still hear “the sound of the water falling into the next circle like the rumbling that beehives make.” As they are walking , they see three shades running together towards them. As they are running towards them, they are telling Dante and Virgil to stop because they recognize Dante by his Florentine dress. Virgil tells Dante to stop because they should be kind and talk to them. The three people are Guido Guerra, Tegghiaio Aldobrandi and Iacopo Rusticucci . Dante recalls them from Florentine and admires them so much that he says “If I had been protected from the fire, I would have thrown myself down there among them.” but his fear of being burned and baked stops him.Also, Tegghiaio and Iacopo are mentioned in a really good way and in the conversation that Dante and Ciacco had. They ask Dante for news from Florence, but Dante answers back with bad news because he thinks that the recent new wealth that people has in Florence has created such an arrogance and excess that people in Florence does not care about the common good anymore and he also says the new mayor does not rule the city really good. As the 3 souls leave they tell Dante to talk about them if he escapes hell and goes back to see the beautiful starts which Dante meant to say heaven. After they leave, Virgil asks Dante to give his cord(belt) from his waist. Virgil throws the cord into a mountain pass which is filled with dark water. As he pulls the belt back, a big monster rises up. They jump on to monster's back and monster takes them to the 3rd zone where the sinners who were violent to art located.
THE PUNISHMENTS
- The name of Sodomites come from the city Sodomy which the homosexual people were living and God destroyed the city.
- The punishment for Sodomites are to run in endless circles on the burning sand and the under of the fire rains.
| Guido GUERRA | He was a leader and a Florentine politician. He fought in many wars. He was exiled from Florence because Guelfs were defeated in the Battle of Montaperti. After six years Guelps fought back , took their revenge and he came back to the city. He was a great General and led the Guelfs in many wars. |

| Tegghiaio ALDOBRANDI | He was a Florentine politician and also the mayor of San Gimignano. He fought in Battle of Montaperti as a Guelph. He was exiled in Lucca and died there as well. |

Locked Down In Target
Every Wednesdays , our dorm parents would take us to target trips. On November 9th, I had the most awkward story in my life.
It didn't feel like any other regular day when I woke up. I had a target gift card worth of a 100,000 dollars on my desk. On the top of the cover of the card, it said to chosen one. I though it would not be mine so I asked my roommate Gabriel, and he said that he has never gotten a gift card from target. At the end of the day , I took my card with my, and inside, i was like " Sweet, free money ! I can get anything I want and do not even have to pay !"
As I walked inside, the card started to glow in my hand. I was getting really scared but inside I was telling myself " Stop being a child A.K , you are seventeen years old , your little cousin doesn't even believe in stories like that !" So i tried to enjoy my time, I started shopping.I got into shopping too much, i forgot that i was suppose to be back at 7.30 , while i was still shopping in 8.00 o'clock.
Suddenly, I thought that I should check if they called me, but my phone was shut down and it would not turn on. I was telling my self that I should go and pay for the items I am buying, then call my house parents. When I went to the checkout counter, the cashiers weren't there. Suddenly, I heard a sound of a computer is turning on. Every computer in the checkout counter were turned on. I was getting really scared. Then, I heard a thick voice talking to me through the computer. It said "Atakan , you are the chosen one, you must finish this job, everything is based on you, you must save the future of Target. I was confused, and i tried to talk to the computer. "How i am suppose to do that? " Computer talked to me back as I was shocked by everything happening around me. " You are chosen from your accomplishments that you have done lately when you were playing football. Today is a day to determine whether Target stays alive forever, or there will be no Target in the USA." It sounded really cool to me, but I wasn't quite sure who was in the team. Computer also mentioned that he will give me 20 players.
I walked to the bakery section, and there was a little red box attached on the wall said " Hit to open up the football field. As I hit the button, there was a big gap, everything in the store fell in there, and the stadium raised. I was suddenly on the standing at the entrance of the field. I looked behind, computer said " Go get them AK,this is your game ! " I was confused after he said that because I didn't know who I was suppose to get! As I walked back to our locker room, I was shocked and happy as well because Vince Wilfork, Dwight Freeney, Ray Lewis, Cam Newton,Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Brandon Jennings, Ndamukong Suh and other famous players were in my team. As I walked in, they all came up to me and acted like they knew me before. Everybody was greeting me, telling me that this game is all about me and I should lead the team as I always. We had red and white jerses on which represented the color of target. I was checking out the locker room, and I saw a jersey hanging which had my name written on it. I sat down, starting to gear up and a big fat man with big speakers and a playbook came up to me and started to talk to me. "Son, this might be the last game of our life, for the name of big Target , we need to win this game against Wallmart, ohh I cannot even stand them ! " He gave me the playbook band and I started to dress up. After getting dressed , Coach gave us a little inspiring speech, then we had a team praying. After that , everybody looked at me , and they said "It's all on you brother " , and I raised my helmet and cried "This might be the last 60 minutes of our life, so we play like it, every down, we will not go 100%, we will go 120 % !, lets bring it in, TARGET ON THREE, TARGET ON THREE, ONE... TWO...THREE! "Everybody screamed "TARGET ! " We went out of the locker room, started to waiting in the tunnel. The narrator started to announce everybody by one. I was suddenly the last person left. Out of nowhere, the lights went off and they started to have fireworks, flames , all kind of things. The narrator said " Our captain, from Turkey, ATAKAN KESKIN ! " I started to run on the field. Everybody was up and clapping. I jogged to the sideline, started to wait for coin toss with Ray Lewis and Cam Newton. We were the "three captains" of the team. After the team of Wallmart walked into the field, we went for the coin toss. Referee asked me " Sir, Heads or Tails ? " Something inside of me said " Heads always wins" , so I made my choice for heads. Referee flipped the coin, it was heads . He asked me" Would you like to kick or receive? " I looked at Ray , and he told me to kick it first and it is a good idea to get the ball at the second half.
First quarter went horrible. We were down by 14-0. Cam threw 2 interceptions, I had a fumble which was recovered by Patrick Willis from Walmart. Ray was having trouble tackling, basically we were going down. During half-time , I talked to myself and I said " AK, if you were chosen to win this game, you must follow what you have to do and execute what your coaches say and lead this team. " I fired up myself and now I was ready. 3rd quarter started , we get the ball. Coach made a play action call but I told Cam to change the play by calling a run game audible . He asked me if I was sure and I shook my had with a confidence. First play , tight flex right, 25 counter. I was so mad at the situation, I just ran like crazy and picked up 64 yards. Now we had 16 yards to score. The crowd was going crazy. Second play, coach wanted to have quick slants (which is a quick throw to the slot receiver) after a big play. As Jeff (who is the center) was about to snap the ball, I realized the "Tampa 2" cover. I screamed to Cam and said "Check Tampa 2 Cam ! " After he realized the went for a screen pass instead of a regular pass play. As I get the ball , I juked 2 of the linebackers and scored an easy touchdown. 14-7. We kicked the ball as we started to 4th quarter. I told Ray, " Now it is your time to shine , lets go ! " And he did. He intercepted the ball in the end zone as they were at the 15 yard line and brought the ball all the way down to the 48 yard line. Offense went back again. First play , 28 option. I picked about 6 yards. Then we passed it to Julio Jones for 25 yards. Now we had only 15 yards to score. Coach said "Lets give the ball to AK and let him score it. We had a play action pass , fake it to the fullback and pass it to me . But Cam did not realize the coverage, me neither. I caught the ball on about 2 yard line and as I turned, a big crushing hit by James Harrison. I started to have black spots, everything. I did not even know where I was. After 2 plays I sat at the bench, It was 4th and one. I told coach I said, give me the ball coach , let me score. Coached looked at me and said "Let's go, we are running I pro right, 21 belly, let's go AK , finish these Walmart boys." As I was walking to the field, crowd went crazy. Everybody was cheering for me. 4th and 1 , on the 6 yard line. As I heard Cam said " Set, Hut ! ", I pushed myself to the end zone. There were about 20 people on me, some of them trying to get the ball, some of them trying to protect me. As the refs opened up the big pile, I was in the end zone ! TOUCHDOWN ! The score was 13-14. 19 seconds left on the clock. Coaches were debating if they should go for 2 or just kick a PAT. I huddled the team around me and told them, " Do you want to finish these boys right now? " Everybody screamed " Yes sir! " and I said " Let's go then ! " I told coach that we need to go for 2 and we did. It was a quick throw to Reggie Wayne and he caught it . 15-14 , we won the Shopping Bowl ! I was so happy and felt like I have been playing for Target for awhile. I was chosen as the MVP of the Shopping Bowl. As I received my award, it had a little button on it which said " Hit it to go back to normal" I accidentally hit it and I ended up at the cashier's desk trying to pay what I have bought. As I gave my gift card to him, I heard a deep voice saying "Thank you" As I raised my head, I saw Ray . He looked at me with a smile and made a shush sign. As I looked around , I saw everybody in the team working there. I walked off the building and went in my car. As I turned on the radio , It was talking about Target winning the Shopping Bowl. I smiled and enjoyed being famous.
